DanceKool UK is a funky, dynamic dance company, delivering exciting workshops in contemporary dance and movement,
including streetdance, hip-hop, contemporary, broadway musical theatre, and MTV style.
DanceKool UK aims to inspire young people and adults to express through movement and dance, and develop skills in these areas to include choreography, technical knowledge and dance is, of course, a fantastic way to exercise.
As well as weekly classes, DanceKool UK also operates within schools and colleges, offering one off workshops, after school dance clubs and courses in Contemporary, Modern Jazz, Broadway Musical Theatre, Hip-hop and Streetdance. DanceKool UK is fully committed to education through dance and encourages physical fitness, increasing student's muscle tone, coordination, body confidence and poise.
DanceKool UK weekly classes are suitable for boys and girls.
They last 45 minutes and cost £3.75 per class.
We are currently restructuring our timetable to include many more classes and different styles of dance, including adults and toddlers.
This revised timetable will begin in August 2010, so check back for opportunities.
Currently we offer a contemporary/streetdance class for ages 5-11
Wednesday 4.15-5pm Killinghall Village Hall.
These classes will certainly be full of giggles and help to make you king or queen of the dance floor!
DanceKool UK also offers some performing experience with small showcases for parents, however the emphasis at weekly classes is on fun and exploring movement and dance technique in a creative, stress-free environment. If performance experience is what you are after, we recommend our sister company ACTAcademy UK.
DanceKool UK also offers DanceStep examinations in dance and movement, leading to our DanceStep awards, certificates, medals and trophies.
All DanceKool UK Choreographers are experienced practitioners in dance and movement, full of energy and enthusiasm for their craft and great at working with children. Enhanced CRB checks are also carried out on all our team for child protection purposes.
